BARCIK and Barendra Youth Forum actively participated in the 6th Rajshahi Book Fair 2026, held recently at Rajshahi College premises. Jointly organized by Surjokiran Social Welfare Organization and Rajshahi College, the fair featured 26 stalls, becoming a vibrant platform for knowledge and culture.

Throughout the event, BARCIK and Barendra Youth Forum showcased initiatives on development, local knowledge, environmental conservation, climate awareness, and rights of marginalized communities. Visitors engaged enthusiastically with representatives and learned about their activities.
On the second day, a drawing competition titled “Our Heritage” allowed children to creatively express cultural and historical themes. Children from Surjokiran’s moral education program in Jamalpur slum also participated, making the event more inclusive. The organization’s president emphasized that such events foster creativity, moral values, and responsible citizenship.

The third day featured literary discussions, cultural programs, music, and book launches, creating strong engagement among youth and visitors. On the final day, BARCIK received a recognition award from Surjokiran Social Welfare Organization for its contribution.
